Two comments:
1. I attended the 1969 Jamboree and I can honestly say the word “condom” was not in any scouts vocabulary then.
2. I happened to work with 8 older scouts yesterday for a service project at our parish. I could not be more proud of their behavior, attitude, work effort and performance. I told their adult leader I was proud of them. Still some good things going on there but.... how long???
Scouts is usually for 9-11 years olds.
Liberals are reveling in their destructive powers.
I was in the Boy Scouts 60 years ago and the skills I learned then are still a part of my life. It was an important part of my youth and a lot of the fellows in the community that I grew up in would agree. But now, there is no way I would want my grandsons to be a part of the Boy Scouts. Another stone in the foundation of America has been taken away. How much long can America stand?
