What is the dead pool betting on John McCain? I had him picked out for late February, but that has obviously come and gone.

Maybe Joe Arpaio could be picked to fill his unexpired term.

America was NEVER ready for John McCain, and honest people really did not deserve him. The rest, they could recognize a kindred spirit.

NYT admires a senator that advances un-Constitutional legislation.

Not surprising.

Not in the slightest; journalists have contempt for the First Amendment.

That is, they have contempt for anyone outside their wire service journalism club presuming to use their own resources and technology to report in competition with them.

McCain, knowing Americans have a soft spot and high sympathy quoent for American POW’s of any war, milked his POW status for all it was worth. He did it while postering behind false modesty and fake humility about his Vietnam War experience. A disgusting human being, small, mean, and vindictive for sure. If he had any decency at all he would resign instead of holding on to his seat and thereby denying fellow Republicans a much needed GOP vote..
