They said something on Fox 13, Tampa last night that people sometimes tamper with the batteries on these things but I didn’t get the gist of what they were talking about.
Some vapers make modifications to the vape for all sorts of things, an many times this leads to things like this.
People mod them to put out giant plumes of clouds. I don't know exactly how it works but that's the intent. Stuff stinks bad too.
Also, 18650 Li batteries come in several different levels of amperage.
They are all cheap Chinese cr@p, too, and the amperage denoted on the battery NEVER matches the actual amperage inside.
The Chinese batteries will oftentimes have a misspelling. Mine say “Pannasonic”.
