Immediately on arriving in Heaven during a surgery for a days long appendix infection, he met his older sister he didn't know he had--still born/miscarriage that the parents had not really told anyone about--and certainly not him. There's no plausible explanation other than the one he gives about his out-of-body trip to Heaven.
