Wall or not they have the right to get in LEGALLY through the door to ask for asylum. If not accepted they may be sent back but the point is that our laws let them in! Then they disappear and voila .. may be now they will be detained until the court decides but frankly I doubt it.
May be I misunderstand what I am hearing.

No they don’t, and furthermore they have no right to ask for asylum here as they have already set foot in a “safe” country, Mexico.
They have not a leg to stand on, legally. Any rulings in their favor will be arbitrary and political.
