An Imminent Counterattack Begins the Fight of Our Lives

Unparalleled government abuses of power are about to become public. The question is what we, the people, will do in response to this overt attempt by deep state players to strip us of our freedom.

Four recent developments drive home the unsettling nature of our situation:

First, Charles Lipson writes how Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) “is making a deeply troubling allegation: An official investigation was mounted against an American presidential campaign with no official information to support it. If so, then U.S. intelligence and law-enforcement agencies were weaponized for partisan purposes.”

Andrew McCarthy, on the implications for equal justice under the law: “Too many Trump critics have abandoned all pretense of respecting due process.” Byron York adds: “…the generally accepted standard of justice has been turned on its head. Now, the question is: Can the accused prove the charges false? Increasingly, the president’s critics argue that the dossier is legitimate because it has not been proven untrue.”

Second, a redacted version of the House Intelligence Committee’s final report appeared on Friday, clearing Trump’s campaign of colluding with Russia but describing three troubling matters: First, former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn did not lie to FBI special agents. Instead, what Michael Walsh calls the Left’s “Star Chamber of Horrors” apparently forced Flynn to accept a guilty plea to stanch his financial bleeding, which included selling his home.

Also, Sean Davis reports Obama’s Director of National Intelligence James Clapper “leaked details of a [Steele] dossier briefing given to then-President-elect Donald Trump to CNN’s Jake Tapper, lied to Congress about the leak, and was rewarded with a CNN contract a few months later.” The chronology of Clapper’s and CNN’s behaviors is a damning tale of intentional deep state sabotage of a president.

Thank you for your prayers. Never mind the holier than thous on the thread. They seem to have forgotten the story of the good Samaritan. Not a one of us is privy to the mind of God. We all have our books. But that’s as close as we get.

I am continually amazed at what self righteous bores many Christians present themselves as, in opposition to the Great Commission.

I admit I am totally pessimistic about all of this. Just because they are doing investigations and reports doesn’t mean anything will come of it. All it seems to be is to tell us about the crimes and corruption they get away with but never do anything about.. didn’t a report just come out today and the end result was ‘no prosecustions’? I saw a thread about it earlier.

I do think Christ’s message is the salvation of mankind, because it teaches human beings how to treat each other with love. With that love comes strength and a terrible resolve. What some do not seem to understand is that through the division of us v. them, they entirely miss the point that only through God’s grace and Jesus’ teaching to love thy neighbor as thyself do we make humanity work, so that we do see the commonality within all of us, as we all come from the same place.

For everything there is a season. IMHO this is a time for cautious optimism.

Name one!

God hears the prayers of all His children regardless of their religious beliefs. God loves us all, He is not a respecter of persons.

In the New Testament of the Holy Bible we learn about the ruler of a synagogue. As yet there was no Christian Church, only followers of Jesus and those that did not.

Mark 5:21
Matthew 9:18

Jairus was “the ruler” of a synagogue, today we call them presidents. While Jairus was not a follower of Jesus he had heard of his miracles, and his daughter was very ill, nigh unto death. In fact before Jairus was able to get home with The Savior after making his plea to save his daughter the daughter had died.

Jairus though not a believer or follower of Jesus approached Him and told Him of his daughters plight.

On the way to the home of Jairus a woman on the street who was ill saw The Lord and touched Him. She was not a follower of The Savior but had heard of His works. When The Lord felt the touch He stopped and heard her plea and healed her.

When The Lord arrived at Jairus’ home He raised the daughter of Jairus from the dead. He heard the prayer of the non-believer who now believed.

The woman on the street who had hope likely became a follower of Jesus but we aren’t told.

Before even The Savior was born we hear in the Old Testament of the leprous soldier who requested the help of the prophet Elijah in 2nd Kings Chapter 5. The soldier Naaman didn’t know God but had heard through a Jewish servant girl of Elijah and his God and sent for him through the king. Actually the king received the request and Elijah heard about and invited Naaman to see him but Naaman was angered that the prophet wouldn’t come out to see him but simply sent a servant with instructions.

The Lord heard the request of Naaman and Elijah on his behalf and healed Naaman. I suspect that when Elijah told Naaman there was a God in Israel that after being healed he was a believer.

I think another good story on the subject is the one of Peter and Cornelius. Cornelius was a believer in God and prayed to God every day. Cornelius was not a Jew. He prayed and God heard his prayer and sent Peter to him to teach him of Jesus and baptize him. When Peter came to the house of the “Gentile” he had to make a decision concerning Jewish cleanliness before entering the house. We are told in this story that God is not a respecter of persons. He doesn’t favor believers over non-believers until judgment day.

Below are a couple videos worth watching that perhaps give a little insight, more than the words in the Bible give when you see it. These are worth watching to get a glimpse of the love The Savior has for all of us, even those that don’t know Him. The video addresses are not in html so you will have to copy and paste them into your browser, I’m just a little lazy.

You picked and chose stories of people that RESPONDED to Jesus, in a transitional period between the Law and the New Covenant.

God does not hear the prayers of those outside of His covenant, unless it is a prayer responding in faith for repentance.

Salvavida,

OK, please show me where God says He will not hear those prayers. Saying He will hear the prayers of believers is not saying He will not hear prayers from others.

I thought He heard mine. I certainly prayed to ask if He was real before I ever thought about repentance.

My personal experience and what I have read in the Holy Bible tell me you are wrong. The Story of Cornelius is much like my own. Cornelius was not praying for repentance but for guidance.

I don’t know where you preach or what church you are affiliated with but I would be hard pressed that they would express this doctrine in writing, if so I would be pleased to see it.

Dude, you responded in faith to God. He heard you.

He isn't under any obligation to respond to anyone outside of covenant relationship. He is a God of covenants. Those are legal terms in which he initiates. Source? The Bible.

So for a lost person; an unrighteous person outside of covenant to "pray" to a God to help his sick baby, or to "pray" for better government, is useless. God isn't a slot machine.

He is to be approached on His terms. Not yours.
