Bad things happen when governments pretend:
The U.S. government pretended that black people weren’t fully human and allowed legalized slavery to continue.
The German government pretended that Jewish people weren’t fully human and the result was the Holocaust.
Many governments pretend that preborn people aren’t fully human and the result is millions and millions of human deaths from abortions.
Many governments are pretending that homosexuality is normal and the result is endless problems.
Now the NHS is pretending that Alfie Evans is not fully human and they have, effectively, kidnapped him.

This guy is a television personality in the UK, and appears to be more of a personality than a physician. I'm always very, very leery of physicians who go ‘Hollywood’, just like I am of physicians who become full-time administrators, or big time activists in the AMA etc. They generally tend to be the people who make it more difficult for other physicians to deliver good medical care.
