WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Eight William & Mary students, a visiting faculty member, and an employee at the Williamsburg college were arrested as part of a months-long drug investigation and round-up by Williamsburg Police and the Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force.
"Drugs seized during this investigation included LSD, Cocaine, Psilocybin (mushrooms), Opioids, Amphetamines, Steroids, Hashish and Marijuana. Approximately $14,000 in cash was also recovered," a police spokesperson said.
The investigation began when police learned about "unreported sexual assaults due to an increase in drug activity occurring on or around the college campus."
The investigation remained ongoing, police said, and warned more arrests were possible.

William and Mary is where Comey is scheduled to give his “ethics” course in the fall.... well in their Washington DC center, not the main campus, but maybe these perps can be guest lecturers!

my vote: keep the goddam cops off campuses. If we work hard enough to get the kids to college, and the kids are cooperating by attending, let them experiment with ideas, drugs, sex and learn a thing or two. This is a travesty. Effing cops. Go get some criminals.

Interestingly, a University campus is not a foreign embassy and it is subject to the same city, state, and federal laws as any other business or person in the community.
If you think of it in terms of a business, you’ll understand modern law enforcement policy.

The question to ask is...will the college pick this up...evaluate the arrests, and dismiss them. For weed? No. But after you list out the heavier stuff, in a normal situation...they’d have to go.

I’m sure the College is very proud of the diversity in this group. A female a Pacific Rim Asian an Indian and a Black and six White males.
