The wakes and funerals of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, HST, Ike, Ronald Reagan, JFK, were attended by all sorts & types of citizens paying respect to the passed leaders and their wives of the American Republic in massive numbers of rank and file American citizens.
The wake of Barbara Bush draw a paltry 6,000 people to view her casket in mourning. And...the following day funeral was a closed "elite establishment" affair, without hardly any public outpouring from the American public whatsoever.
Why? The Bush family with its envy, hatred, disdain, dislike and elitist gaul, dripping with disgust for POTUS, Donald J. Trump had done immense damage to its image in the eyes, ears and minds of millions of Americans who support POTUS, Trump and elected him POTUS.
That also a ditto for the Clintons and the Obamas who I suspect will get a similar reception upon their passing from the overwhelming numbers of the American people.
There used to be a time in America politics when elections were competitive, with both sides going at one another, but when the American people made their choice known...that choice was respected for those who were fairly elected.....and they would be given a fair chance to rule & legislate by a majority of the America people. No more!!!
I hate to say this......but, I fear the passing of some our past leaders passing time, will be met with simply...so what? Barbara Bush, who stood by and let the hate of Donald J. Trump fester in her sons, unabated. Not good for her and certainly not good for our beloved country. That is why you did not see or notice millions of mourning folks on the streets of the funeral procession, as we all did when Ronald Reagan passed away. Sad!!!
I do not sit in judgement of Barbara Bush...only God Almighty can pass his wise, all knowing, judgement on her actions and feelings. Her judgement from the mass amounts of the American people, however, was nothing to write home about!!! I hope she has seen the error of her hating ways and has asked our Lord for forgiveness.

I think he should do a rally a month, get out and see the people who love him and wish him well!!
I just got done looking at photos on the Daily Caller from the funeral.
I almost laughed because Melania was put next to Obozo and he scooted toward and turned more toward Melania than he did Mooch.
Just saw the local news and the story on the funeral. Lord the Clinton’s and Obama’s were there in a front pew sitting together. Thank God Clinton did not speak.
Bush 41 looked frail, my guess is that without Bar he will go soon and another State funeral. What an awkward thing that might be with Trump there.
The Bushes proved time and time again they are not for America, that they were not Republicans. They were Blue Blood Democrats that used the Republican party for political gain. They time and time again represented foreign interests over Americans.

In addition, Barbara Bush was the godmother of that crime syndicate with a deep hatred for America and what/who made America great.

One thing that bothers me is how she will be buried at the Bush presidential library, undoubtedly at taxpayer expense. Thus, this mediocre, deceiving family is treated like Ramses in the VALLEY of the Kings, at taxpayer expense.
But there were more television viewers for her service than for FDR and Lincoln combined.
I’m an Aggie, and I was told practically the whole town came out to view the motorcade.

If I wrote what I thought of Barbara Bush, it would be ugly. So I won’t. But I fully sympathize with anyone who feels betrayed by the Bushes.
I voted for a Bush for President 4 times, including the failed run by the elder Bush. In each case, they were better than the person they ran against. But I’ve come to view the family, and particularly the women of the family, and wolves in sheep’s clothing.

Only 1500 people walked past Nancy Reagan’s casket.
Good lord there’s a lotta crazy in the pic of Presidential bedwarmers. There’s one with an alcohol and dope rehab center NAMED after her. There’s one that had an astrologer set her husbands schedule as much as she could. There’s Babs, grand dame of a crime family that barely escaped prosecution for trading with the 3rd reich until mid-1942, was likely involved in the JFK assassination, and smuggled dope into Mena arkansas. And Rosalynn was the most normal of the bunch and she was a pro-abortion left wing nut herself. Add in Hillary and Moochelle who weren’t in the photo and yeah...
Melania is a breath of fresh air so far.
The Bushes have done a lot for A&M, and they are known throughout the Aggie community as being very kind to the students.
On one of the Aggie boards someone posted how they sat behind the Bushes at a football game, and she kept on giving homemade cookies to his son, and the Aggie and his son thought she was great.
Trump was very hard on Jeb. I can understand why she didn’t like him. It would be hard for a mom to hear.
I liked her, and I’m sad she’s passed away.
