Does this mean they are going to be messing with 10 in an update?? Can we block it? I don’t even understand the mumbo jumbo and I’m sure as heck not going to understand it if they go messing around with it with an update...I didn’t ask for Windows 10 - it was a fluke with a site I went to and before I knew it, it was loaded...The site said I needed to UPDATE my browser to gain access to the site which wasn’t true at all.
I’m ready to disable all updates...I know people who do and they swear they haven’t encountered any problems by doing so.
You cannot disable all updates to Windows 10, except by unplugging it -- permanently -- from the internet. Otherwise, it WILL update.
The people you know might be working with Win7 or 8.1 or earlier, where you CAN disable updates.
Win10? No such luck, if you're a normal user (not a volume-license business customer).
I’ve lost more work from 10 updating than I’ve lost since the PC was invented. I hate it for that reason alone.
