I enjoyed him on both Night Court and when he used to appear on Cheers. Very good memories from childhood. God rest his soul.

Sad. That was a good show. Is the big bailiff still alive?

How sad. I liked Night Court. It had very quirky humor, and Harry Anderson was a big Mel Torme fan (Mel showed up a time or two).

Richie Tozier in Stephen Kings It, Seth Green played young Richie.

But he was great in Night Court.

“Night Court” still shown on weekdays LAFF-TV - 4 episodes a day...and still holds up. Funny show.

Sorry to hear that. I was thinking of him a few days ago. He participated in a benefit show at Houston’s Jones Hall back when the TV show was on, and I met him at the event. Very pleasant person.

I remember him doing his carney magic, like sticking a needle through his arm and wiggling it under his skin.

I even think I saw him one night performing at the Laugh Stop in Houston in the early 80's.

I liked Markie Post and Marsha Warfield, but the era that featured Karen Austin, Ellen Foley, and Selma Diamond was just that better time for the show.
