Went to the dentist, mentioned that in a text — NOT on FB. Just looked at a youtube and it was preceded by an ad for a dentist on the same block as the one I went to.

Your phone is probably location sharing, so whether you mention dentist or not, certain apps know you were at the dentist.
CREEPY!!! I try to keep my location turned off on my phone, maybe it helps, maybe not.
Back in 1998 we had to pay for the internet by the minute. I would log on, get my email, and log out. Go through all my mail, dump the bs, and answer all my pertinent mail. I would log back on and chase any info. I was looking for. Before logging out I would recheck my emails. I found a bunch of junk mail for what I was searching for. I have now covered my footprints on the net.
