I have had the impression, over the last few years, that Benedict XVI is being held prisoner.

I think the phone/stupid post is likely referring to the fact that there are so many people addicted to their phones and addicted to posting selfies that probably someone like that couldn’t resist taking a selfie or other pictures inside their “secret” rooms.
I’ll bet NSA hoovered it off their phone, unbeknownst to them. So now they have the evidence.
