I had an interesting conversation with friends, and was inspired to ask my Friends for their comments...
I first chose an American classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzPLQpLAxc4 ~ Nat King Cole ~ Stardust!
I then chose the Irish Philharmonic Orchestra ~ Irish Philharmonic Orchestra ~ Holy God We praise Thy Name(3:36)
Finally, I decided on a blues classic:
(1975 Dublin) Thin Lizzy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=261uidoVOVk
“I want a hippopotamus for christmas...only a hippopotamus will do.”
Several years ago I put that on a Christmas CD for a friend of mine. Her daughter loved it and made her play it over and over. Friend didn’t know which was worse - that one, or the song from “Frozen,” “Let It Go.”
Pachelbel - Canon in D
Glenn Miller - Moonlight Serenade
Not sure about the 3rd one.
I was going to say “Satisfaction”, “Inna Gadda Davida” and “Louie Louie”.
Ask a thousand people; get a thousand different replies.

Well, I am not going to try to get three, but any list that does not include Glenn Millers In The Mood, is simply not serious.
GM Rocked, excellent video...
You need to listen again, that’s the greatest version of the greatest Stones song!
...unless you need a box wrench, a pair of pliers or a drill.
Doobie Brothers — “Listen to the Music”
Marty Robbins — “El Paso”
The Carpenters — “Top of the World”
I’m with you on Moonlight by Glenn Miller
Sheer genius
Damn but those women from the 30’s and 40’s were gorgeous. In the next video, it seemed that Fred Astaire brought out the best in Rita Hayworth.
“Telegraph Road” is my all time favorite Dire Straits song - especially their “Live Alchemy” album.
MK’s “Chet Atkins like” picking guitar solo beginning at 8:50 is spellbinding!!!

ps: “Good Vibrations”, like all BB songs, were helped immensely by the “Wrecking Crew” studio musicians that included Hal Blaine on drums and the GREAT Carol Kaye on bass.
Fun Fact: Glen Campbell (another Wrecking Crew alumnus) borrowed Carol Kaye’s 6-string bass for the solo on his masterpiece, “Wichita Lineman”.
“Stardust” is one of my favorite tunes, and that is a great recording, but I am partial to Artie Shaw’s version:
Ditto
1. 4 Tops “Baby I Need Your Lovin’”
2. Yes “Owner of a Lonely Heart”
3. Buggles “Video Killed the Radio Star”
1. Rhapsody in Blue, Gershwin
2. Kashmir, Led Zeppelin
3. Orange Blossom Special, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band

No problem with ‘El Paso’.
My personal choices would be “ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fm34aGogGd0" For the Doobies, & “https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFx-5PGLgb4" for the Carpenters”
I went to high school with Terry Stafford. He ended up with a recording studio in LA, died from some bodily ailment.
