Wasn’t there also something about the Kenyan leadership saying to another former Kenyan muckety muck that they shouldn’t deprive their county a chance at affluence all for the sake of one person. Everyone at the time seemed to think that they were throwing Obummer under the bus.

I remember that. They probably didn’t want the baggage that would come with 0 or they know he is in some serious trouble and don’t want to deal with that mess.
