It’s an attempt to inoculate anyone from even considering investigating Q, to head them away from even consider looking with an open mind.

Yes, this is their intent. I put forward that this is bad strategy on their part. If they make Q a commonly known thing, more people will look into it. If the cool kids (like us) are seen to believe in it, that will give the sheep pause. The more cool kids on the Q train, the better. Right? The lefty sheep are already against us so F them. We are after the uninformed.
