Getting my house clean always makes me feel better.
Mostly because it is time well spent. A clean home is a happy home.

I do not enjoy cleaning house.
I prefer to keep it clean by wiping things down each day.
Saturday’s are for fun, not house cleaning...

I’m happier and more relaxed not cleaning the house. I have a bad back, and do what is necessary. My place is far from being a pigsty. There was a day when I washed my floors on my hands and knees like my mother did, but those days are long gone.

Anyone know a slightly depressed hottie?
My place could use it.

People who enjoy what they're doing are happier than whose who hate it.
They needed a study for that?

I remember my Mother used to sing while doing her house work.
My wife had a beautiful voice but I don’t recall her ever singing except in the choir. I don’t think she minded house work tho.

We have a family joke: if ghosts were haunting the house and able to move things, they are welcome to house clean!

I used to enjoy cleaning when Merv Griffin and Phil Donahue were on the air and I listened to the TV in the background. These days, the good old shows are all gone.

A home should be clean enough to be healthy, but dirty enough to be happy.

She is liable to point out to you that the article says “people” not women. She probably would not want to be the only happy person in the house. heh

Clean as you go! That was the training motto at McDonald’s when I worked there decades ago. I learned it so well, I use it in my own home. You’re right, so much better than waiting for a big pile of dirt on “cleaning day”. (This is especially true of shower stalls, squeegee and wipe em down after each use, and you never really need to clean them, haven’t “cleaned” mine in years!)

If it wasn’t for the laundry pile in my bedroom in my 20s, no other living thing would have been there to listen to me write music for open mic night.
Sometimes the pile would shift a little and I would go back and work on that part.
