There are hundreds of these aircraft still in use around the world and they are still produced.

Of course they are, I can't argue against that. But what are the chances that NK has access to those parts in order to keep their own planes flyable? It's quite likely that their antique planes are still on their original tires............

Ah, maybe because China borders North Korea on the North? And China still produces this type of aircraft?
