I have lived there 4 different times, finally got over it and live in NC most of the time.
The standard reaction of the crooked cop. How dare you question my integrity. "You can't handle the truth" etc.
"The fact that [Trump] has said all these things about me, he's made all these attacks, he's gone on and on -- you can't dismiss it, that's the problem," McCabe told POLITICO in an interview earlier this month. "That's why presidents don't typically attack senior executives in the FBI, because they would never even want to create the impression that that sort of improper influence could be taking place."
-- Hopefully by the end of the month this will be a footnote. --
This event has kicked up more excitement than firing Comey did. Wait 'til things start poppin', man oh man. I don;t know if the tension build-up is by design, or if it's the natural progression, but the amount of tension keeps going up up up.
Laying the evidentiary groundwork and going by the book will be seen as darned important. I still go back to Rosenstein's "fire Comey" letter. Well done, and IMO, historic. That marked the formal start - the papers that will be studied 20 years from now.
Indeed! You may be onto something. Thank Q!
There are great things about Maryland! None of them involve their people. Love the Inner Harbor, Ocean City, Camden Yards, and the weather, generally.
Reminds me of election night when hitlery had to send out podesta to make a statement for her.
Just wonder if mccabe got drunk & had a screaming fit like hitlery did.
I didn't link Gates with "Executive Order Blocking the Property of Persons Involved in Serious Human Rights Abuse or Corruption"
Trump could have Gates by the balls
No surprise to me that he is a martyr hero. He's going to slay the Trump dragon yet.
He certainly seems to be blaming everyone but himself, oh is that like Hillary too?
Hope PDJT double gloved!
Oh Annapolis was great back in the day. Now it is overrun by libs and illegals and the traffic is a nightmare.
Restaurants are wonderful but seriously expensive as is most everything there.
I still spend time there but prefer living near the ocean in NC for now.
That was crazy. Those Retrievers played well
He made threats about being fired. Said he wouldn’t be going down alone - just like Ron Brown did. He might want to find a safe space, stay off planes, and out of cars.
He better be paying his security some serious coin. ;-)
I miss the ocean. Not sure I will ever see it again. I married a guy from Minnesota. We moved to SW south Dakota some years ago. Love it. But I still miss the beach sometimes.
"Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced late Friday he fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe effective immediately just days before his retirement benefits would have set in."
~~~~~~~~~~
IIRC, before he was pushed out of office, McCabe threatened that if he was fired (and lost his pension) "There will be Hell to pay"...
Well, "Nous verrons" about that... '-)
Yes they did, all the way through the game. They are going to be talking about this one for a long time. Eventually it had to happen where a #16 team took down a #1 team. I'm just glad my team wasn't the first.
He should be OK. After all Obozo is not Clinton. Obozo is from my generation and we are slackers. :)
(1) Donald Trump and Jefferson Sessions are terrible human beings.(2) Andrew McCabe was fired because Trump & Sessions think it will undermine his testimony about the Trump/Republican obstruction of justice in the Russian probe. But, the firing itself is an obvious attempt to obstruct justice and validates McCabe's importance to truth of matter
(3) Both Comey and McCabe were fired, technically, for being too harsh on Clinton. They were. But, both were actually fired because Trump thought it would help obstruct the Russian probe. Comey's firing brought US Mueller and McCabe seems really prepared to fight back as well.
(4) Safe to assume that McCabe will sue government, Sessions, etc. It will be public and really damaging to Team Trump/Republicans for both how much they have politicized all levels of civil service and how little they care about actual public servants.
(5) Following through on this particularly evil and stupid idea of POTUS Trump may save AG Sessions' job for a few weeks. But, Sessions' legacy is now a mix of being craven sycophant and demonstrating just how fragile "justice" is in our "democracy".
LoL I don’t see you as a slacker by any means!
