L.A. Marzulli has done a ton of work on such evidence for years. He has a number of videos out on it.

There have been bits and pieces that have occasionally been hoaxed.
And reputable DNA labs were initially reluctant to be named. Some still are.
However, custody of evidence; techniques of DNA gathering etc. etc. have all advanced and the results are proving to be at least interesting and more than a little conventionally inexplicable.
IIRC, the human component appears to be female from the Levant and about the time when Joshua was exterminating all the offspring of the Nephilium, the giants etc.
L.A. Marzulli's theory is that some of them escaped to Peru etc. etc. etc. and became like gods to the people there.
The timeline seems to fit. The DNA seems to fit. Yet there's tons more to be well researched.

It sounds like a very complicated explanation that hoaxing and deformed skulls can explain a lot more easily.
People have been making lots of money off these complicated explanations for decades. People *want* to believe.
There are 100's to thousands of specimens of true elongated heads (NOT manipulated baby heads) that are beginning to contribute to better and better DNA studies.
There have been found very young baby heads with elongated heads and even at least one fetus with an elongated head. Those heads were clearly not manipulated into an elongated shape.
Also, the connection to the spine is wholesale different with the true elongated heads vs the human heads.
And the fissures in the craniums are quite different for the elongated heads.
Some facts are just facts and the debunkers tend to slip and slide around them while screaming loudly about the relatively minor numbers of hoaxed puzzle pieces.
It was initially challenging to get uncontaminated DNA study worth samples. That problems seems to have been solved and the better quality DNA studies are starting to come out.

The manipulated human heads into an elongated shape do not have an increase in volume just a change in shape.
It is far more logical that an elite offspring of Nephilium & human women with their elongated heads were mimicked by head binding toward an elongated shape as a way to elevate status by looking like the god-like elite.
Now, this is weird
One of the articles I read mentioned that heads were deliberately elongated over time for some sort of fad, much like the stretched necks of the Kayan women in Myanmar. Very strange what people do to their very bone structure.

1. the true elongated skulls appear to have up to 25% more brain capacity. This has been argued that the large range of human brain capacity encompasses that. I'm not convinced of that.
2. The sutures are less and different than the human skulls. This has been argued that human sutures can close and disappear as young as 17 or 18 years old. I'm skeptical that the closed human sutures will truly look like the elongated skulls. The TYPICAL sutures are routinely just quite different.
3. The 'foren magnum' sp? is starkly different on the true elongated skulls. That's where the spine connects to the skull. In the authentic non-human elongated skulls, that site is moved so close to the back of the skull that if it were much more in that direction, it would be outside the skull. The human skulls are quite different on that score.
4. The bone mass and composition is VERY different with the authentic elongated skulls. They are thinner and much tougher. There are also fibers within the bones of the true elongated skulls which have no human parallel.
The last two points I've not read any debunker deal with very convincingly IF at all.
