I like DST for many reasons...the most important being that from about May to September there would be bright sunlight at about 4AM where I live without it.I'd much prefer daylight at 8PM rather than 4AM.

A few years ago I was in southern Michigan in mid June.I arrived,by car,at about 9PM on a clear day and there was still bright sunlight.Even at about 10PM you could still see a little bit of the blue sky above.I found that interesting.

I'm in and we don't observe....but everyone we do biz with does change. Pain in butt.

Once, while visiting customers in Las Vegas area one winter, I was in 4 or 5 time zones in one day. AZ/Nevada/AZ/Utah/Nevada/California. That was a tough day to be on time for appointments.

8 states visited that day, as I remember.

DST exists for only one reason: to remind you who’s in charge. Government says it’s 3AM and you agree. Stay in line and do what you’re told.

Doing something, anything, this disruptive without a good and we’ll known reason is collectively stupid. I’m not playing along this year. I’m retired and don’t need to make the change save for the occasional appointment and I can manage that just fine. The rest of you can continue to deal with this siliness.

Especially here in Alaska, I despise this retardation. In the spring, it screws us out of daylight in the morning, and in the fall, it screws us out of daylight in the evening. It sucks, it’s stupid, it doesn’t make any sense. No one can honestly defend it for any logical reason.
