How about the New San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge that was supposedly build with Chinese Stainless Steel that is already rusting and deteriorating? We knew when the steel towers and girders were being delivered they didn't meet specifications but the Liberal run CalTrans FIRED their engineer who supposed to oversee it, and actually hired for that purpose, and was screaming to high heaven that what was being delivered was not right, including bolts and cables! They didn't want to hear it so instead of making the builder do it RIGHT, they fired the whistle blower to shut him up!
I remember something about that.
