When Lissette Calveiro moved to New York from Miami in 2013, for an internship, she felt like she was living the “Sex and the City” dream.

The now-26-year-old was having brunch with friends and buying new outfits online — and documenting it all on her Instagram account.

“I wanted to tell my story about this young millennial living in New York,” Calveiro, who has more than 12,000 followers on Instagram, told The Post. “I was shopping . . . for clothes to take ‘the perfect ’gram.’ ”

Land, space (from people) and living among like minded people (conservative) in God’s country is the way to go in the USA.

I lived on E 67th and also in Brooklyn.

That was before Manhattan was where you lived if you couldn’t afford Brooklyn... LOL

“Fourteen months in, she was able to pay off her debt. After working with a financial coach, she now uses an app called Digit, which funnels money from her paycheck to a savings account after she’s paid her rent and living expenses (she keeps a cushion of $300 in checking).”

Reads like a smart woman who knows haw to manage her finances. She probably has a FICO score average of 750, which she can use to buy a house at a low interest rate down the road.

Her biggest splurge was a $700 round-trip ticket to Austin, Texas, for a Sia concert in November 2016.

$700 was her "biggest splurge," but she's supposed to be an example of Millenial overindulgence and repentence? What?

I spent $700 on an Oriental rug, on a whim, in 1990. I still have it in my bedroom, too, and it still looks nice, although a cat chewed the fringes off both ends.

For a billion years the grass was never “mowed”.

Why waste energy to mow it now?

That’s because it’s the best city in the world.

You really do live in a bubble. I consider it one of the worst, at least in the states.

Yea, I looked after posting. As long as you book a couple of weeks forward - maybe $300, at most.

Now that living in Phoenix (area) is getting so crowded, I am starting to thing either picture you paint is superior than over-crowded suburban living where you have to drive everywhere.

Give me long, windy and empty country roads or let me walk everywhere or take a train but THIS type of living is for the birds.
