Juan Pedro Franco, from Mexico, was the worlds fattest man at 595kg in October 2016. After undergoing medical treatment, he lost 250kg and plans to lose about 100 kilos more in the next year-and-a-half.
The folds of flesh on Juan Pedro Francos back sway heavily as he cranks the pedals of a modified bicycle with his arms, exercising to boost his already jaw-dropping weight-loss total of 250kg.
Franco, who comes from northern Mexico, used to be the worlds fattest man. Guinness World Records certified the title after he weighed in at 595kg in October 2016.
At the time, he was completely bed-ridden, suffered from diabetes and high blood pressure, and had a severely obstructed lung. Doctors warned his life was at risk if he didnt lose weight. Thats when Franco decided to undergo double gastric surgery.

Are we looking at the AFTER photos?
that’s the way the story reads.
I’m always surprised when people 800lbs or over allow themselves to be interviewed on camera while they are either shirtless, or draped in a tarp. The sad truth may be that at their size, no clothing is available to purchase unless that article has been tailored just for them. Not everyone can afford a tailor. I wish him luck and patience. He’ll need to get psychological help too, or any lost weight will be quickly replaced.
Somebody was bringing him the food that made him fat.
They guy has a much smaller stomach and shorter intestine, so it might be a struggle to put *all* the weight back on.

He weighed 1311 pounds!!!!
Have you seen the show on TLC “my 600 lb Life’?
Fat, flesh and food!!!
.....and lost 550 lbs!!!
They figure out how. Trust me.
One plus. He couldn’t climb the Border fence. g
Yeah, we!ve seen it. Couldn’t happen without enablers. Someone to bring them the food.

2014 statistics, but the trend for obesity and extreme obesity is obvious in grocery stores and public places.
We are getting FATTER!!!!
It’s hard to tell from the photo, but his dog actually weighs 300 pounds.
It can happen! I have a friend who is obese - and her dogs are all overweight, too. Food is comfort and love to her, so she gives the little critters large quantities, whenever they want.
She keeps wondering why her dogs are so young when they die.
before: 595 kg = 1309 pounds
after: 345 kg = 759 pounds
1309 pounds is the size of a pretty good sized cow.
I’ll say it again, it’s absolutely impossible to continue to weigh that much when you’re bedridden. Somebody is bringing you that forty or fifty pounds of food every single day.
I see that picture of a dog and I’m reminded of those zoos who keep puppies with wild animals, and they play together.
People don’t understand that those dogs that play with the wild animals are designed to die so they can tell that a wild animal is good enough to bring around people and let people see them. So the dog is basically playing with death and it will die.
I chuckle and think to myself that perhaps this guy keeps a friendly dog around because the dog will come near him when he calls and he can snap it’s neck and eat it if his food isn’t delivered in time. You know, a backup.
