Cut the Crap: We Need Full Constitutional Carry, Several Dozen Insane Asylums, and a FULL BAN ON ANTIDEPRESSANTS
See this kid? Yeah, where Im from, thats called, crazy as a shithouse rat.
Heres a nutty idea. Stay with me. How about we put the crazy people in a facility where they can receive supervision, care and treatment? We could call it hmmm lets see an insane asylum, or even a mental hospital. That is, a place where people who are insane and/or mentally ill could receive shelter and care, and at the same time the rest of society would likewise be protected from them. Because CRAZY PEOPLE CAN BE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. It would almost be like a CORPORAL WORK OF MERCY OR SOMETHING.
Just brainstorming here, kinda free-associating, what if there were religious orders that had as a charism the care of the mentally ill? Wouldnt that be a beautiful thing? People dedicating their lives to God, the right worship of God, and as a function of their love for God, they would care for those of Gods children who are insane? Off the wall, right? I know.

Yes.
The pncrease in mass killings in the US matchess exactly with the increase in use of psychiatric drugs.
Yep.
My time in this world is spent with dogs. That is what makes me happy. I don’t need anything else.
Maybe just thyroid levels maintained/balanced. Quite common in hyper females— thyroid disease mis diagnosed and given ianti-depressants to slow them down. Fails and habituates them. Just saying more probable thyroid-— way beyond arms length that isn’t remotely fair— just guessing.
People do understand that the huge upsurge in anti-depressant and psychoactive drugs prescribed came about from the “mainstreaming” of people who should probably be in some kind of institutional setting. Recall when during Reagan, the mental hospitals were “civilized” to public release and halfway houses etc, at the insistence of the truly insane libs— for reasons of being more “humane”. The walking loonies are far more in evidence these days— because 1.) they cannot be depended upon to actually TAKE their meds unsupervised.
Don’t we already have asylums for mad people?
Well Ann is usually a chit house mouse herself but this rant has merit. :-)
Yeah, I think you’re onto something there. The family unit has been under siege since the sixties. You had a dad to keep you in line and a mom to nurture you. You watched how your father treated your mom and other people. Love is missing, yes. Love for our fellow man, love for strangers, love for each other in general. If America can not see what the problem is we are done. We need to return to a simpler life. If they would only let us
we need a full repeal of all ‘gun laws and regulations’ period. end of file
as for anti-depressants and other psychoactive drugs, and maybe some additional drugs too, we should do a careful review...the sheer volume of these pills being pumped into people nowadays is staggering....... including so many millions of kids ... I do believe SOME people must benefit from SOME of these pills, but... millions of kids need to be dosed with them? Just from what I can see and hear about, it appears that we have a serious over-prescribing problem....especially for our youth in America
Thank you, good analysis.
We no longer lock them up, so we have to live our lives in the prison of a gated community.
And I also agree, if someone is too unstable to own a weapon, then this person is also a good candidate to be in an institution, because anything can be used as a weapon. Who are we kidding that putting such a person on a gun no buy list will solve society’s problem?
1 in 4 us adult women have prescriptions for antidepressants. It is estimated another 15% of adult women should be on them for undiagnosed bipolar disorders and such, but aren’t.
It is not a male problem. We arent popping them down like Pez.
Off topic, how great are Pez candies?
Simplicity.
That is a truly beautiful word.
On topic....I have no clue, but....it sounds like YOU should know.
Great posts.
Simpler lives, from simpler times.
The left complicates things (manufactures crises) to diminish the simpler times :(
1 in 4 us adult women have prescriptions for antidepressants.
Oh...and it’s 1 in 3 for men, Sparky.....

I’ve provided an actual link, unlike your out of ass guestimations.
I guess we could argue studies and statistics, all night. But, I don’t have the interest in a back and forth, with you.
Besides...you appear to be the *expert* on this topic.
You’ve pretty much shown your true colors. Go back to YOUR little helper, er, friend.....Mr Pez, Sparks.
If America can not see what the problem is we are done. We need to return to a simpler life. If they would only let us.
They are the ed system, Hollywood, media, unions, social websites, and now churches. And they will NOT allow a return to moral times. Quite the opposite they purposely brought us to this point, to divide and weaken us, so cultural Marxism would flourish, and those elites would rule.
Sound far fetched? Look into cultural Marxism and The Frankfurt School. They roadmapped it in the later 1940s. They brought us political correctness, sensitivity training and concensus building.
A lot of them and I would assume they think they are getting thrown under the bus by all this talk.
ok, i underestimated women, they are losted at 33%. I got the 1 in 4 from just women in their 40s and 50s. its higher including all adult women.

Thank you kindly, Jane.
For me, I just want to see my dogs every day, I want to see their smiling faces and watch them play and take them where I go and watch other people enjoy them.
That puts a smile on my face. That makes me glad I’m here in this place.
It’s so simple. I don’t need fast cars, or a big house, or jewelry or really anything else. If I could reduce my life to one single thing, that thing would be dogs. I run with dogs.
We all have to find that one simple thing that connects us to this world and makes us happy and thankful to be here. It’s probably going to be different for each individual, but it really boils down to one thing only.
What or who do you love?
