MSNBC Eats Crow, Issues Humiliating Announcement on Trump-Russia Case
CTH ^ | 2/21/2018 | V Saxena

Any harebrained liberal who still believes President Donald Trump might one day wind up in prison for colluding with Russians to affect the outcome of the 2016 presidential election should promptly seek an appointment with a therapist.

And not just because the evidence has disproved this narrative, but because someone at MSNBC — the same MSNBC where a contributor recently called for a “revolution” against Trump — now admits that the likelihood of Trump being indicted by special counsel Robert Mueller is “next to zero.”

“He is not going to indict anybody if he can’t bring that indictment home and he is not. He’s going to do everything he can do to make sure he doesn’t break china in America’s constitutional republic,” said co-host Joe Scarborough on Tuesday edition’s of “Morning Joe,” according to The Daily Caller.

“The possibility of him actually indicting the president is next to zero, because that’s not who Bob Mueller is,” Scarborough added.

Read it and weep, my dear and very deranged liberal friends.

The fact that even Scarborough — who has spent the past year attacking Trump over everything from his purportedly “dry mouth” to his alleged interest in firing Mueller — now admits that an indictment will never happen is monumental, to say the least.

It’s also a delicious serving of crow.

During a segment of “Morning Joe” just two months ago, Scarborough’s co-host and fiancé, Mika Brzezinski, warned that Trump and his family “might go to jail for the rest of their lives,” as reported by RealClearPolitics.

And wouldn’t you know it, Scarborough agreed.

The president “thinks taking on Bob Mueller is the same as taking on Rosie O’Donnell. No, I’m dead serious,” he said. “He does. He thinks, ‘This worked with Rosie. I’ll do with this Comey. I’ll do this with Mueller.’ He has no idea that he’s going down.”

What changed? A lot, actually.

Last week Mueller indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian organizations for interfering in the 2016 election. But more importantly, that indictment contained clear-cut proof that neither Trump nor his campaign elections ever colluded with these Russians.

“That’s because the indictment explicitly states that the Russians were posing as Americans when they communicated with ‘unwitting’ members of the Trump campaign. In other words, as far as this indictment is concerned, nobody on the Trump campaign knowingly colluded with the Russians who were just indicted,” even the left-wing site Vox admitted.

Plus, the indictment revealed that the Russians’ efforts began in 2014, a year before Trump even declared his candidacy:

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump Russia started their anti-US campaign in 2014, long before I announced that I would run for President. The results of the election were not impacted. The Trump campaign did nothing wrong - no collusion!

Case closed, you’re dismissed and bon appétit, my dear liberals, including MSNBC’s own Joe Scarborough.

Just because he doesn’t indict doesn’t mean he won’t make a referral for impeachment over obstruction or whatever else he thinks will work.

The deluded and the deluders are disillusioned.

heh.

It’s always been about the narrative. Truth and facts were either things to use or things to hide from when it came to the narrative. News isn’t news. News is politics. Political news isn’t truth, it’s fiction. Call it spin if you want. That’s just more BS

Is the bizarro world of MSNBC, Scarborough is the voice of the hard right, so their viewers will not be dissuaded from their sugarplum dreams of impeachment and prison for their great orange tormentor.

I would hardly call it ‘eating crow.’ Even while denying Trump was guilty, they’ll still phrase it suggestive tones:

“Trump’s collusion still hidden in mystery”

A key thing Leftists seem unaware of:
Whether or not Trump et al “conspired with Russians” is an _objective_fact_. It’s not a belief which one wishes in/out of existence.
That fact is known, with total certainty, to one person: Trump. Consider the raging frustration of being accused, by millions, of something you _know_ you _did_not_do_.
At some point, the accusers should consider the possibility that they, not being privy to personal experience with the objective facts, might actually be wrong - that Trump knows, for absolute objective certainty, that he is innocent of the accusation.

Anecdote:
Growing up, I had a fascination with magic/illusions. One of the “facts” was that magicians would have a “plant” in the audience to deceptively “confirm” the authenticity of a trick. This tacit lie was generally accepted as a given.
Years later, I attended a Penn & Teller performance - and was chosen to confirm the “double bullet catch” trick. I can’t prove a d@mn thing to anyone, but I personally know that, for at least that one instance, the person selected from the audience to confirm the trick was _not_ a “plant”.

Forget about Morning Joke and his sidekick, they’re making lots of money by saying things that a small fraction of the population cannot hear often enough and they will never “eat crow”. Worst that will happen is the bosses at MSNBC will fire them for being too nice to Trump.

Nobody cares what they think except that small fraction who will be ‘resisting’ long after Trump has left office.

He just found this out now ? Nice try. If true, he had to know it from the get-go. So everything up to this point on his show is was known by Joe to be B.S.

Even while denying Trump was guilty, they’ll still phrase it suggestive tones:

Joe didn't say Trump was innocent, he said Mueller isn't the type of guy to indict the President. Its Clinton-speak for: We know Trump colluded, but Mueller is too honorable to indict the sitting president.

I agree that Trump will not get indicted. However, I also think Clinton, Comey, et al will skate too, which appears to be #1 goal of Mueller investigation.

Don’t trust anything liberal media does.

I predict this is all cover for dimwits and Hillary.

They always project their own illegality on others.

Hillary wasn’t indicted even though she was clearly guilty, knew she was guilty and made every attempt to conceal and cover up.

This will just be the latest chapter in accuse Trump of getting away with illegal actions to detract from their own government conspiracies, treason and bribery.

The Clintons and their propagandists in the media disgust me.

Scarborough has never been right about anything. This is what worries me.

Yeah, Joe, it's because of who Mueller is, not that the whole thing has been a fraud from the beginning, right?

You and Signalman are right. Mueller has successfully revived the tainted election narrative. The idea some Russian Facebook trolls had any impact is absurd of course
they spent what, $900 in Pennsylvania in think and overall most of the money spent was AFTER the election. But the truth does not matter MSM went full on with it and it’s back as strong as ever.
