Some of the greatest appreciation for and training in classical music these days is found in East Asia. When they find out about this, I guess they'll go back to that atonal traditional stuff. /s

Let the music rise or fall on its own merit. Which is better, the symphonies of Mozart, Bach of Beethoven or the works of modern composers that sound like a discordant string of random notes?

God has given each of us the ability to sing and make music. Music was created to worship and praise God. Racism hits a sour note and is reflected in its music.
Simple solution: If they/you don’t like classical music, change the channel or station. Nobody is forcing you to listen.
Unlike the garbage deemed music of today such as rap, hip hop, etc., classical music has been with us for centuries, leave it alone.
God also gave us common sense, which is sorely used/lacking these days.
Depravity is the new normal in America. Only GOD can turn it around.

And why are there so few minorities in the classical music business? It’s not like actual talent and drive to excel would be squashed. I guess that anything White people are known to excel at, but minorities eschew, are targets for the “White Privilege is killing us” crowd - they never suggest that minorities should work harder to excel - they always suggest taking the excellence out of excellence and dumbing things down so minorities can get some glory w/o doing the work....says all that needs to be said about them.

The great classical composers were white, and are now dead. It’s too late to change them into something else.
Or, is the issue that classical music lovers should listen to more rap and hip-hop? Good luck with that!
