I am so sorry that my post was misdirected. The story that was posted takes us off task, kind of like saying squirrel to a Jack Russell Terrior.
Trump has done an amazing amount of changing over the last 15 or so years. Witnessing the ripened fruit of the ravages of leftism, I believe, has woken him up. He may even have come to Christ, which is totally life transforming.
Sure glad he grew up.
That’s the difference between a conservative and a progressive.
Apparently about 50% of the people in this nation haven’t grown up.
I urge people to watch the video. Sure some of his views have evolved, but it’s not like he was some total misguided lefty back then. Not at all. He had a lot of thoughtful points to make about a whole slew of subjects. In a neighboring clip, he addresses North Korea - and he’s been very consistent...all these years...

I know, I’ve been watching Trump for years. Some things he said I felt were way off, while other things were insightful. He also knows/knew how to play people towards his own ends. He’s been a work in progress, being raised up for a great purpose. He is a wonderful gift from almighty God.

Did you watch the video? Why are people so easily offended?
a) There’s been speculation about Oprah running for president. SHe’s not, but talk of it was going on relatively recently.
b) Trump is constantly berated as a racist and sexist, but here he is respectfully praising Oprah’s character and success — and it’s a 6 minute clip where he touches on other topics also.
The future president is very compelling to watch and listen to. And it’s really cool to reflect on how far he’s come.

I think Trump meant well when complimenting her here and this was still before the culture war lines in our society were as clearly drawn as they are now...with Oprah taking the mantle as New Age “one world” spiritual guru...
Back then, her legacy was a bit more objective than that: nobody could deny her leadership skills nor her talents and capabilities as businesswoman.
Trump says lots of things to gain support. So what?
