No sir, the ideology of “satanism” is a post-modern construct. Before that it was simply called sin.
What we call satanism was never identified as such before the modernist philosophical age infiltrated the church (ca. 1875).
That is not to say that demonic worship, demonic sacrifice and occult practices did not exist. Bundling them up under the banner of satanism simply mainstreamed them in modern society.

The Babylon Code documents the evil back to Babylon.

There may have been different labels ... but regardless of the label ... folks knew the label was talking about satan worshiping horrors/cultic stuff.

Certainly it reached back to Rome. But The Babylon Code really does trace it quite convincingly back to Babylon in activities and in language.
