OK, I had no plans for Valentine's Day but my girlfriend is busting my chops since this morning to take her to this and that restaurant. I actually forgot until this morning LOL. Gimme some ideas to calm her down.

Wife and I going to the Avalanche game. They have a Valentines package that includes a glass of champagne.
We did charitable donations to animal groups as gifts.
This evening, she is at church and I am painting some plastic trim pieces on my old 79 Blazer.

It’s a pride thing. All her girl friends will compare where their boyfriends take them for dinner. Go with it. Otherwise you’ll be embarrassing her in front of her friends. Bare minimum is some place like Olive Garden.
Husband had some dental work yesterday. We are having leftover meatloaf and mashed potatoes tonight. I may end up folding a load of laundry, and really need to refill my car’s windshield washer fluid. The cat has actually been playing a little bit lately, so we might play ball for awhile. Would like to see some of the Olympics, but probably won’t stay up past about 9:30.

Briefly thought about Valentines Day today and how much money I wasted years ago on this holiday. Heavens only knows but it was a lot.
I’m lucky to remember one ex girlfriend’s name. I heard she got married on a Christmas day ( who does that?? ) and did the hyphenated name thing with her husband.
There was also the fact we did not share a sense of humor at all.
Otherwise I worked and that’s it.
The Mrs told she is boycotting Valentines starting this year. It is 100% commercial and she wants no part of it.
OK by me! We will go out somewhere nice in a week or 2 instead.
