The screaming Canadian curling couple is back!
The commentator said that recently they got into a huge argument on the ice. The husband was so mad he actually threw the other team's stone. His wife was screaming "No! No!" but she screams so much he he ignored her. LMAO!
..........In spite of the fighting, the screaming couple just won the gold.

I dunno about that, two hours of the slalom portion of the Alpine combined was no bargain either. And there’s the biathlon yet to come. All that angst about missing a target with an air rifle in the snow.
We’re just getting warmed up here in Canada, as the hockey team .... wait, what ... they stayed home? .... oh sh*t.
Well good luck to those amateurs, everyone else sent amateurs too, right?

I think the Biathlon actually uses a .22 cal rifle! Not sure how the Europeans are ever allowed to practice with one though.

Yup, .22LR @ 50 meters. 160ft.
I know a guy who can shoot aspirin sized dots at 100 yds. With a .22.
I have to use a .308!

And in biathlon, shooting occurs after you’ve just maxed your heart rate racing on cross-country skis. Don’t know how you calm your muscles to hit those targets consistently.

That was a story about another team. I believe Norway, they re engaged. The Canadian couple are not husband and wife. They are very good though.

I love how NBC’s Olympic theme music starts out like O Canada but adds on more notes, just something that caught my attention years ago when you never heard O Canada at the Olympics.
Since we went all East German with our governments, we are big winners at the Olympics. Free speech, not so great.
