When AliceAnn Meyer's son, Jameson, now 6, was born with a rare genetic disorder that prevented his head and face from developing correctly, the San Antonio, Texas, mom started a blog to keep family and friends informed of his condition.
When she learned that a photo from her blog, Jameson'sJourney, had been turned into a cruel Internet meme, Meyer began fighting back, reporting every version of the photo she could find, and writing a touching blogpost about her experience.

It COMPLETELY breaks my heart to hear this story. My wife and I adopted a special needs child (behavior issues) nearly 5 years ago and had a hard time dealing with the dismissive looks people would give him and us. I would rather die than reject him.

What a heck of a story.
How many times have memes with Downs sufferers or retarded people been posted here?
When I was 15, my parents took me and my best friend to Hershey Park.
We got lost, because dad didn’t believe in maps.
We stopped an old guy walking along a back road and asked for directions.
He was a bit “Deliverance”.
My friend started snickering and making faces and I laughed aloud at her antics.
Without the slightest bit of break in his conversation with the guy, or even slightly adjusting his position, my dad somehow defied the laws of physics and biology and snaked his hand across the back of his seat and smacked me upside the head.
It was the last time I ever “laughed at” someone’s appearance, even if indirectly.
That’ll do it :)
Those days are gone my friend.
Now dad or mom gets arrested. If the kid is playing too far from home they get arrested or the kids get taken away

We can blame the internet but the scum of humanity was always within from day one of humanity. It’s quite out and about now.

It is amazing. Imagine being a teenager, and your parents posted all your Baby pictures on the walls of your high school.
These parents who hijack their kids lives to feed their own online egos are doing the exact same thing.
Exactly. People stop putting your kid’s photos on Facebook and stop showing them on Youtube.
