Typical RAT, he’s right about that only the liars and weasels are the some scum in the FBI and DOJ and the good people happen to be Nunes and Trump among others.
Individually, they have not yet been known to refuse an illegal order (though there may have been some deaths that covered up such refusals; there were probably also some resignations).
Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin did what he could, but the military-legal channels put on their Deep State hats to deny him justice.
It's folly to think the Deep State can't work to overcome the President's influence in the chain of command.
The Deep Staters that pulled these things off are generally (Admirally, not admirably) still in power.
Consider that --- HARD!
Joe McCarthy is the one vilified for exposing real Russian traitors. Comey is the one history will remember as the one who helped create a phony Russian conspiracy to attempt a coup de etat against a duly elected President of the US. Not a good analogy for him.
Not a lot of streets named after Ethel Rosenberg, Comey.
I agree with you on what you say about Comey. I knew he was dirty the minute he let Hillary off the hook. That cinched it in my mind.
Hopefully Trey Gowdy will be one of the federal prosecutors that throws the book at every Dem they can charge. I’m not even sure Schiff is off the hook the way he’s been reacting to the release of the memo.
However, I have always been reticent about using the term coup. But...you make a good case.
Yes, I see your point about Nunes proceeding with every last ounce of deliberation. It takes one more bullet away from Schiff.
I am one that thinks the press coverage of this is irrelevant - because we already know what the press coverage will be. Like SOTU, it will be 95% extremely negative. The press is completely owned and operated by the Democrat/Progressive Deep State. They have their talking points and marching orders. This will not be won or lost by what the press does. Do we expect CNN to do anything other than spend all their time destroying this from every angle fed to them by Schiff? The press is irrelevant IMO,

One of the things that gets my blood pressure up is the oft asked question on all the networks, but especially Fox, i.e., "Why would the Democrats not want the Nunes memo released in the interest of transparency and getting the facts out."
Duh! The Dems are guilty as Hell. They were behind this entire scheme to spy on the Trump campaign and transition teams along with a sitting President. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand why they are trying to block the release of the Nunes memo, or at the very least, discredit it. Would a criminal want the evidence of his crime revealed?
The Russian collusion meme is the basis for the FBI and Mueller investigations. It was initiated and fueled by the DNC and Hillary. For over 18 months these ridiculous investigations have sullied the Trump team. The MSM has been part of the dirtiest political trick ever perpetrated against a candidate, President-elect, and then President. It has enlisted the bureaucracy to employ all of the tools of the intelligence community against Trump to prevent his election and then possibly remove him from office.
The Dems and Deep State had to double down on their efforts after Trump won the election because they knew that their perfidy would be discovered. Now the chickens are coming home to roost.
The FBI has dirt on most of them or they have something that they don’t want the FBI to find.
If Gowdy were a smart, honorable guy, would he not demur from saying such a thing, let alone repeatedly with emphasis? Why not just keep quiet? Doesn't he see Comey's dirty-cop status? Does he not think the side of TRUTH is going to win?
Was he trying to rack up brownie points with Comey or the Deep State?
Now we see he intends not to run this November. Did that college need a replacement ethics professor?
