Must be 100 times today I heard liberal talking heads on TV say the shutdown will be blamed on republicans because they control the WH, Senate & House.
No they do not! It requires 60 votes in senate to pass any significant bill, and they have only 51 republicans in senate. This temporary spending bill can not be passed by reconciliation, unlike the tax bill.
Why I seldom hear above response from republican talking heads?

There’s a place in Iowa City called Dirty John’s that has an incredible beer collection. John’s grandson now runs the place and I know him through the BMW bike club there. If he can’t get it nobody can!
