Just kidding.
I agree with everything you mentioned. I also ran into a Trump-hater in the ER who insisted that Fox News be turned off before he would proceed with treatment!
Emergency Room in Brit speak (Accident and Emergency - although what’s the difference??).
Despite how bad our healthcare has become under Obama, I’ve never waited for than 15 minutes in an emergency room before being seen in all my life. The doctors have been wonderful as have the nurses. I still remember fondly when my swollen finger made it impossible to remove my wedding ring and the entire ER gathered round when a new instrument was used to remove it. They were like kids with a new toy.
Seems to me that the “coat as a pillow” thing should be the least of her worries.
I figured an Architecture and Engineering building somewhere...
I sent about two hours on my hands and knees vomiting into trash cans in the ER waiting room before being admitted the first time I had a kidney stone
I usually just bring a book.
I SPENT!
Ouch!
Do what I do get yourself and Tac jacket with ICE printed on the back. You be surprised how quickly the ER clears out.
No need to spend any money. Just yell Migra, migra! That will do it.
My spanish is horrible they would just laugh!
I spent about ten minutes filling out paperwork having walked into an ER with heart attack symptoms. The typical pains (chest, shoulders, neck) disappeared before I was seen. I shoulda stretched out on the floor and closed my eyes!
Transported to a different, but nearby, hospital the next day, I got surgical intervention.
As for a kidney stone attack, there's not much they can do. (I've had a dozen). Don't eat celery, seeds, beans or nuts.
I finally got pain meds and I was very happy after that.
