I saw the clip of this play, it is obvious what he was trying to do, but an athletic receiver won the contest. People ought to keep this crap in perspective and not attack the guy, who no doubt feels worse than any of the drunks and bleacher bums giving him a hard time.

It’s ok if he won the contest, the idea was to make sure you’re in position to tackle him inbounds if he catches it. If he does that, the game’s over.
