A Westport woman was charged with disorderly conduct early Sunday morning after she allegedly threw pizza at her husband, during an argument in their car.
Amber Llorens, 44, of Thomas Road, was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport on Jan. 8.
Police received a call around 1:44 a.m. from Westport police, who reported an alleged domestic violence incident that happened in Fairfield.
According to the report, Llorens and her husband had been at the SeaGrape earlier, celebrating a friends birthday. They left and went and got a pizza from Dominos on the Post Road. While there, a friend of Llorens called and asked them to go back to the bar and pick up some belongings the friend left there.
That apparently started the argument, and the husband said while in the car, Llorens threw slices of the pizza they just bought at him. Police said there were several slices of pizza on the floor of the Land Rover.
At one point, Llorens said her husband tried to pull her out of the car in an alley in Fairfield, then said that happened in Westport, and ultimately said she could not remember.
I believe the time has come for a three topping waiting period.
Hmm, well not quite New Haven, but never a good idea to throw away a good Connecticut pizza.
Fortunately, I never had a pizza thrown at me. I did have a former girlfriend who threw a Connecticut ham sandwich at me, but that’s as far as it went.
Not assault? Maybe it was a micro-anchovy.
When pizzas are outlawed, only outlaws will have pizza...
Buy me Dominos pizza and I am going to throw it back at you also.
I live in a city that has several great pizza places including Pat’s Pizza where I hang out. I have no idea why these manufactured pizza places do any business here.
Was it an assault pizza?
You Freepers are on fire, tonight.
No matter how you slice it, that’s terrible!
Normally I would say that wasting pizza is grounds for divorce, but it’s only Dominos.
It was Dominoes. Was there a crime?
So she then basically tried to create a lie he assaulted her and stopped because she couldnt get one consistent with the fact it never happened.
Some drunk woman friend of hers demanded they get the stuff she left at a bar and hubby isnt married to her and said forget it. God the hive mind is strong in the shrews.
Couldn’t get to second base?
Assault by pizza...yep pizza’s salty, but would it confess to it?
Doesn’t Dominos have the pizza damage guarantee?
If it had mushrooms on it, it should be a capital crime.
If you buy dominos pizza in Connecticut you’re really doing something wrong.
Drunkeness, ruining families for millenia ...
