A few years ago I made the comment here on FR that I never understood what people saw in Taylor Swift. I didn’t say she was untalented. But I did imply that she wasn’t anything special. You would have thought I’d attacked the Lord Jesus based on the responses I got.
Well, I still don’t think she’s anything special.
Her latest top 40 thing is porn
Kind of nasally and whiny.
No real vocal talent.
They promote her as a fashion/clothes horse, or glam type, but really isn’t.
It take A LOT of WORK to create and project her image.
She/they can only sustain it so long.
I saw Taylor Swift before she was famous opening for Rascal Flats in Omaha in 2006. They introduced her as the next big thing. I’m not into country (except I love Rascal Flats) and I didn’t particularly care for Taylor although I remember her as a beautiful young girl with gorgeous long blonde hair. Interesting I remember her but not her music.

I spent $900 for two tickets for my daughter-in-law and son to go see Tay-Tay.
