Why would you want to hold “Bankster Coin”, kinda defeats the whole purpose! (Decentralized sound money not controlled by banks or central banks). Plus a huge supply (100,000,000,000)...might as well buy Doge! ;-)

In different episodes, Fred said he would mix Ripple with champagne to make "Champipple", Ripple with creme de menthe to create a drink he called "Cripple", and Ripple with Manischewitz kosher wine to what he called “Manischipple”

Surviving bottles are extremely rare with unopened bottles, originally sold for $1, valued at between $150 and $200.

Unbelievable! The last was from a 2014 article.

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music
Would you hold it near as it were your own?

It’s a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they’re better left unsung
I don’t know, don’t really care
Let there be songs to fill the air

Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow

Reach out your hand if your cup be empty
If your cup is full may it be again
Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men

There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone

Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow

You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who’s to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home

Ripple was Fred Sanford’s favorite

"Take a little champagne
Take a little Ripple
Put 'em both together
And have a champipple."

Calling it a currency doesn’t make it so. Same with bitcoin.

Ripple is a transfer protocol used by banks. The issue with Ripple is that amount of them is not limited.

So the combination of the two means that banks can “move” the price and thus making their balance sheet look good at the end of the quarter. And guess what...there are two weeks left in the quarter.

You can make decent money trading it, and over the long period it’s probably ok. But the volatility is gut wrenching.

I am concerned as to what might happen if a pebble is tossed.

Is ripple a good investment?

No. XRP is a centralized scamcoin. The point of (inefficient) blockchain based currency is decentralization, where the Man can't take your stuff. Ripple doesn't adhere to the decentralized concept.

If I put $1,000 in my checking account, and then write $1,000 in checks, is there any reason for people to start passing those checks around, bidding them up to a value of $1,000,000?

Of course not.

Which is why this digital-coin bubble is going to burst.
