I hope they didn't spend a week camped out there.

Well if you couldn’t hear what BB8 was saying it would ruin the whole movie.

Maybe it’s a silent film - retro is very trendy, you know.

Well I no longer have any interest in Star Wars or Star Trek. Of the two I think the Star Wars fans might be the most fanatical. I really is unreal.

Should have showed “The English Patient” while they fixed the sound.

Tried to see Batman (Tim Burton/Michael Keaton ) in a movie theatre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The projector broke about 2 minutes into the film. After 20-30 minutes of efforts to get it going, they declared, Shows over and kicked us out.

This happened to me in 1983 for the showing of ROTJ.
I blew off high school with a friend and waited outside all morning. We were in line for the second showing, when the crowd from the first came out PISSED.
The Dolby sound system crapped out and they ended the movie after an hour.
All that for ewoks ...

Silent movie.
Went to see first showing of Born on the Fourth of July. After a couple reels it suddenly switched to something about giant sandworms. Distorted picture. Turns out they mistakenly got part of then forthcoming movie Tremors and it got mixed in (70 mm to 35 mm). Got refund, saw later, thankfully hadn’t bought refreshments.

I once did some sound effects.
Maybe I can help here.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Zzzzzzzizzzzz. Zzzzzizzz.
Pew! Pew! Pew!
Wonk. Wonk.
OK, the last was me trying to get the last drop of pop out of my $6 cup of pop at the theater.
