Judas Priest is locked and loaded for the new year.
The heavy metal legends have shared a snippet of the title track from upcoming album, Firepower.
The groups 18th studio effort is set to debut sometime in March. A confirmed release date is yet to arrive.
Its great. This is what Priest lives for, frontman Rob Halford told Blabbermouth. Were a hard-working metal band still making the metal forty-odd years later, thanks to our glorious metal fans around the world. So we make music now, obviously, still for our own pleasure and enjoyment, and the challenge of finding a new riff and a new melody is always very Its a great feeling.
Check out a preview of Judas Priests latest below.

While always selling well, this may be the most under rated band from the previous century.
Do not miss their show. You will not regret it.
Thanks. I’ve always been a Maiden guy, but I’ll check it out.
New Judad Priest music.
And the horror never ends...
I couldn’t believe they weren’t in the RRHOF. I would have always guessed they were in.
Saw Maiden 3 times here in L.A.,in the past 5 years. Eddie didnt show up on the second show (WTF!). After the JP lead singer came out fag, I cant head bang to it.
If you missed quite a bit, check out Halford. He put out an album a while ago that was really good. Also a big fan of his Nostradamus album. (Kind of a Sgt. Peppers type thematic album that tells story of duh, Nostradamus).
The only band that caused ringing in my ears for a week.
I am planning to go when they come around near me.
I see why they’re underrated. The teaser sounds like every other thing they have done for the last twenty years. It could have been recorded and saved in a vault until now.
Meh.
I first saw Judas Priest around 1980 at the Palladium in NYC. Iron Maiden warmed up. We drank Schaefer quarts in the park before going in. Someone threw an m-80 off the balcony. Good times!
Also saw Priest in 1982 with Maiden as the opening act. My first concert actually. I was like 12. Saw both bands many times over the years since that time. While I am still a fan of JP, I thought their best work was almost everything before Turbo. After that, nothing really stood out that much for me. But I love all the old classics off British Steel, Point of Entry and back into the 70s. Same with Maiden really, I like the older stuff better. Killers is actually my favorite album - love Wrathchild, Murders in the Rue Morgue, etc.
1982’s Screaming for Vengeance...
Best Metal Album ever.
Best Metal Album ever.
Yup, from beginning to end a great album including the lesser known tracks like Riding on the Wind and Devil's Child.
