Barron Trump stepped out alongside his mother, first lady Melania Trump, at the White House Monday afternoon as she greeted the official White House Christmas tree.
The 11-year-old, President Trump's youngest son, hasn't been spotted much since moving to Washington, though President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama often enlisted the help of daughters Sasha and Malia around the holidays.
Most famously, the two Obama daughters often stood alongside their father as he pardoned a turkey every Thanksgiving week.
Barron Trump may be put in the same position, as the turkeys have arrived in Washington and a lucky one will be pardoned by President Trump tomorrow, the first time the Republican has participated in the event.
Melania Trump stepped onto the North Portico, sporting slacks, heeled boots, a red turtleneck sweater and had a plaid trench coat draped over her shoulders, a style the first lady loves to wear.
A dressed-up Barron was wearing a white button down shirt and a jacket and slacks with boots.
The two Trumps greeted the horse-drawn carriage and spent about a minute surveying the tree before going to meet and take pictures with the Chapman family.

And, 2nd Lady Karen Pence has trimmed down quite a bit.

The kid is in the middle of a growth spurt. His body is putting its energy into growing taller and getting bigger feet, not building muscle mass. The muscle will come.
Looks to me like she’s still got an inch or so on him, but it won’t be long before he is towering over her. Going to be a tall young man.
Probably not when her boots come off.

I was amazed when I saw the group photo.
He looked like the tallest of them all.
I hope he can weather all of the crap from the left.
My heart breaks for him when I hear about some of the ugly things they say about him.
Mom looks strong and I’m sure she is teaching him how to rise above it and come out smelling like a rose.

One of my nieces was like that. She’s 25 now but when she was 12 she was almost six feet.
Sometimes he looks like he’s giving the press the stinkeye, not that I blame him. ;)
A long time ago, after my youngest son had a growth spurt, he told his grandparents on the phone that the next time he saw them they’d notice he’d become deformed.....because he’d grown another foot!

He just may be playing that wise CHESS that his father has been sending and playing to the rest of the universe.
He's 10 years old and he has to be close to 6ft tall. Guys when they go through those quick-growth spurt have trouble keeping up, physically and even in other aspects of their lives. I'd wager that after a full school day he's exhausted, with school getting in the way of eating on his own schedule and getting enough sleep.
