Scott Adams: Trump Will ‘Probably Be One of the Most Consequential Presidents of All Time’
Breitbart News ^ | 20 Nov 2017 | John Hayward

...Adams said Trump’s attention-getting techniques, most recently including a tweet that dubbed Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) “Senator Jeff Flake(y),” have a tendency to become “almost immediately viral.”

“They stick in your head. They usually have some kind of a physical reminder, or there’s something that the person is going to do that will reinforce it. So any time Jeff Flake does something that’s, let’s say conflicts with the party, people are going to say, ‘Well, that’s a little flakey.’ That’s one of the signs that Trump is doing the engineering of these things right is that you’ll be reminded of them all the time,” he said.

Adams said Trump’s demolition of then-front-running Republican candidate Jeb Bush by dubbing him “Low-Energy Jeb” was his labeling masterpiece since it also played up the contrast between Bush and Trump’s own high-energy approach.

“The moment he’s painted his opponent as ‘low-energy,’ it was such a primal – you could almost respond to it on a biological level. It’s like, yeah, you don’t want a leader that’s kinda droopy,” he chuckled. “And then you knew that any time you saw Jeb in the future, that frame would just haunt him. You’d say, yeah, that is a little low-energy, the way he said that. That one was probably his best work.” ...

“He endured multiple scandals that would have sunk ANY other politician.” Most of them are fake scandals and the Clinton family had way more real ones. They aren’t sunk... yet.

How could you forget doctor & president!

Dr. President GEOTUS

Anyway, as I'm quite fond of saying, and have probably already bored many to tears, Trump holds all the cards. It's only a question of when to flip & reveal; timed of course for maximum impact.

If Sessions, Mueller and the rest are as corrupt as many claim, it still essentially remains a moot point. That's because Dr. President GEOTUS plays for keeps. Not for nothing do his detractors label him as mentally unfit to hold the office. You'd think that too if you were opposed to a vindictive terminator who never gives up.

Trump is addicted to victory. His greatest joy is to defeat his enemies, to drive them before him, to take their horses and goods and hear the lamentation of their women. Frankly it's not only ludicrous, but laughable to imagine Trump feeling cornered, or afraid of impeachment. Playing defense and hiding is never a sound strategy.

You'd think FReepers would recognize certain ethereal qualities in someone who took on the entire establishment (and 1/2 the country), and still won.

Trump to woman reporter's question during 2016 election:

"Which woman would you like to see displayed on the new $20. bill?" Trump with a dead serious look said, "My Mother".

“I think when people see their leader doing something that’s just physically weak, you can use all the rationalization in the world
– say well, this is temporary and well, everybody gets sick, and well, they’re a certain age –
and all of that’s true, but still on some deep irrational level, you think to yourself,
‘if my tribe gets attacked by a pride of lions, do I want the strong one of the weak one up there?”

Meanwhile, due to idiot protesters,
Trump was hopping over fences to get to speech venues.

This man, Trump, deserves all or our gratitude for having the courage to step up and leave a very comfortable life to lead this nation, crippled by Obama and Hillary, up and out of the death spiral.

He is Batman! And we cannot thank him enough.

God bless this man and protect him and his family.

“That’s what Ryan and McConnell are supposed to do. The Donald needs to bring duress and coercion to bear on those two back-stabbing bastards. Until that happens, few of his policies will become law. Executive orders, by their very nature, are temporary.”

Kathy Griffin complains she’s unemployable after being ‘blacklisted’ from Hollywood for Trump photo scandal!

This might be a fair warning to the GopE, undocumented Democrats in congress, and the Follywood rapists and sexual offenders/perverts.

Are the NFL thugs paying attention? How employable is the Colin Cancer?

Adams pointed out in early 2016 Trump’s use of “the kill shot”.

Low Energy Jeb!
Lyin’ Ted
Crooked Hillary.
Jeff Flakey

The jab at McCain about being captured which incensed McCain, but then the truth about McCain’s activities on the USS Forrestal, his cowboy attitude as a pilot became more widely known, and McCain went silent (and is still seething)

Just like Whole Foods picked up the moniker “Whole Paycheck”. They were completely screwed, and you see Bezos and company trying to lower prices and re-frame the view of their stores as price competitive.

It has to be something that rolls off the tongue to be effective.

The trouble for politicians, is that you can never shake the kill shot moniker....ever.

That’s the technique that Trump uses...it’s subtle, but devastating over time as he continues to use these taglines.

Adams said that Trump is not doing well on race relations.

You sure about that, Scott? Trump’s tweets about the NFL players kneeling turned out to be on the most popular side of that issue. He is still finding the sweet spot on controversial issues like that because he understands what people think.

But one of the few areas we haven’t heard a lot about is reducing deaths in blue cities and making people feel safer. I’m sure he’ll get there, but that was one of his main pleas to the black community to support him.

Adams is amusing at times. But he is, fundamentally, a weak and fatuous person.

Trump needs to fire obama & Clinton supporters running the various depts and jail obama & the Clintons and many of their supporters before he will be consequential.
They will drag down anything he tries that is worthwhile like say removing obamacare and actually lowering taxes and reducing spending.

Definitely disagree. I’ve enjoyed his articles for quite some time. I especially enjoy how he tries to subtly manipulate readers in a way that liberals keep falling for.

When Ronald Reagan was president, every time I saw him on TV I felt a perfect calm and peace and knew that I was living in a very grace-filled time.

I feel the same way about Donald Trump.

You know Blessed, that is such a nice way of putting it. Thank you.

Adams is right about a lot of things, but I believe he is wrong, wrong wrong on Judge Roy Moore. We Alabamians are different that the California types he is used to dealing with. I think Judge Moore is going to be a US Senator from Alabama, and soon after, the senior US Senator.

From quick wins to regulatory changes to appointments, he’s accomplished more in one year than many presidents did in 8.
