2 People Killed When Wrong-Way Driver Crashes Into Vehicle Along 118 Freeway in Porter Ranch
I’ve never understood how this happens, until last week when I witnessed a driver sitting at a red light ahead of me.
The light turned green, he turned on his right signal and proceeded to drive up the exit ramp.
Suicide.
I use to drive the freeways in the early am this was the one thing that scart the wee wee out of me was seeing some oldsmobuick coming at me with some drunk behind the wheel prayers up for the innocents that were killed
Approx. 4-5 weeks ago a friend of mine was on I-96 here in Michigan when a car crossed the median and hit him head on. It’s a wonder he wasn’t killed, instead he had to have his foot amputated above the the ankle last week.......
I hated driving in California. Too many crazy drivers out there.
That is poor design in my opinion.
This time of year, I drive to work in the dark and drive home in the dark.
I am amazed at the number of vehicles driving with no headlights.
Each and every day and night.
I am so sorry for your friend.
The multiple “No RIGHT TURN” arrows were abundant.
Tells me all I need to know.
No, more than likely an illegal, who drove the way he did back in Mehico. I saw that all the time in California, especially in the San Fernando Valley.
A second accident with the same circumstances happened on the 605 also.
You don’t want to be in the fast lane late at night. The drunks get on the wrong side of the freeway and think they are in the slow lane being to the far right lane or so I have heard.
Before I saw "30 years old" I was thinking 85 years old.Now I'll bet it's alcohol/drugs.
I am amazed at the number of vehicles driving with no headlights.
Each and every day and night.
As I was leaving, another motel resident pulled me aside and said "He can't tell you, but I will. It's the illegals. They drive around at night with their lights off 'cause they figure that way the cops won't see them."
Sure enough, as I prepared to pull out, I looked carefully up the road. A car or two came southbound with their lights off, blaring loud mariachi music.
At 12:25 AM.
Yep. Was a big SF Valley influx in the 70's, and illegals coming up to a stop sign, hitting the horn and keep on going. We just figured that was the Mexico way of dealing with stop signs.
“It is unknown why the driver, identified only as a 30-year-old man
Tells me all I need to know. “
Yep, it was a democrat.
That, too.
These aren’t local streets I’m diving on.
These are Interstate Highways.
