“Warning...soy is a phytoestrogen.” That should be part of a warning label on soy products, along with an advisory that men should not consume it...
I stopped drinking milk when I was about 8-living on a ranch, the milk was really fresh, but I just didn’t like the taste of it-still don’t-but I do like yogurt, cheese-just about any other dairy product.
T5’sguy was horrified when I showed him articles about the soy/phytoestrogen link, because the protein supplement he likes was nearly all soy-he substituted another one right away-neither he or I do the doc thing unless we are injured or dying, and drugs are not on our menu-only natural remedies-we work out 3 times a week and have physically active jobs, and neither of us eat any processed food or meat that is not free ranged, etc- my guy couldn’t see the sense in taking down his macho that I like so much and that he is so proud of by putting any more of that soy powder in his food and drink-I have read that regular ingestion of even medium amounts of soy by a guy can lower his libido and lessen the size and functionality of his-um-junk...
Since I did not/do not believe that HRT is safe-and now that has been proven-I used an herbal supplement with soy during menopause, and it worked just great.
And most bread has soy flour in it. So the contaminated beef on the contaminated bread doesn’t make a man’s man burger.
In addition to phytoestrogens, soy like all legumes contain phytates which act as antinutrients. We’re not meant to eat plant seeds. Leave the soy for the pigs and eat the pigs instead.
Yes-most natural practitioners and nutritionists recommend meat or fish as a lean protein source for adults-they do not need all the fat that is in milk, either...
And the healthiest milk is whole milk. The least healthiest is skim. just an fyi
The food I buy for my 3 cats has the no soy products on the label of both the wet and dry food-apparently, I shouldn’t feed soy to my pets, much less to my guy...
However, I don't want it on or in anything else.
And that old chestnut about the size of the Asian man’s penis. Could soy be a factor?
“Almond milk”
detrimental effects of high cholesterol is a shibboleth and has been repeatedly discredited by numerous studies in the 21st century.
you’d be SHOCKED at the amount of sugar in almond “milk”.
it’s sugar, high fructose corn syrup, vegetable oil and high-carb grain diets that are big killers in the U.S.
Soy is bad for the thyroid.
Soy milk in particular Silk and Edensoy are far superior
To cow milk which is made for baby cows who are to gain 200-300 lbs in their first year of life
Not to mention
Oat milk
Cashew milk
Almond milk etc
Now there is no soy or other substitute for cheese ice Cream etc
My 2c
My compadre and co-worker’s wife had almond milk in their fridge-being curious he read the label and was amazed at the list of unhealthy ingredients-especially since his wife is 50 lbs overweight and claims to be on a diet. He said he emptied the container into the cats’ bowls, but neither cat would touch it...
I read an article a while back & in it scientists said that the increase of boys growing breasts was due to the huge amount of soy we consume. It also said that the Japanese did not consume nearly the amount of soy that Americans do.
A nurse told me that Hispanic girls develop & start menstruating quite early due to their chicken heavy diet full of hormones. Scary stuff.
I can’t help it...I can’t seem to control my emotions anymore.
I’m either transitioning into a female or a leftard. Can’t figure which.
Quick. Find the closest bathroom and lift the toilet seat to the upright position and leave it as such. If the idea disgusts you, it maybe too late.
NOT if one buys sugar free Almond milk.
I’m on one of those cholesterol free diets to get the nag Dr. at the VA off my case. I’ve found the sugar free helps along with other dietary changes I’ve made.
Chinese and Japanese men and women eat soy which has been precipitated (tofu) or fermented (the famous mmm - mmmmm delectable natto, tempe, soy sauce). Precipitation and fermentation greatly reduce or even eliminate the problem of phyto-estrogens.
Nobody in the Far East is ignorant enough to consume non-fermented soy products like soy milk and TVP like the Europeans & Americans do.
Things that make you go "hmmm..."
Better to link to the YouTube video rather than the clickbait site.
