No NFL players protested during the national anthem before early games as the league celebrated Veterans Day weekend by honoring the military.

The NFL Players Association had asked all players to observe a two-minute moment of silence before games to honor veterans.

If they think a smoke screen smile on Veterans Day will satisfy Veterans like me, they are even more stupid than first thought. I noticed the Dallas staff are today wearing American flag patches on their jackets. Won’t work. They can wrap themselves in 10 flags and until I hear from those who have knelt that they were wrong, they apologize and it will never happen again, I’m gone. Forever.

Half was probably a pretty good estimate in my opinion.

While it may have been less than that, people do leave their seats quite often. When we attend baseball games, its annoying how frequently some “fans” go out for bathroom breaks and concessions. And, many arrive late and leave early.

There are always “empty seats” for a variety of reasons and that probably accounts for some of the vacant spaces.

So what the NFL needs to do is open up the seats to the homeless. That will fill the seats so it looks better for them and the NFL will be providing a much needed service to the homeless. They could provide free hot dogs and a drink too.

I heard a story while on the run this morning that Comm Roger Goodell is demanding $30mil a year and his own private plane... Is that white privilege? The NFL rule demanding that the players stand respectfully and quietly with their hands on their chest during the National Anthem has been in the books for many many years... It is Roger Goodell who has allowed all this stupidity to continue!

Jerry Jones [Dallas Cowboys owner] has been trying to get Goodell removed from office - apparently alone. If the NFL owners are this stupid [how did they get to be millionaires?] then they will get all that they deserve.

I hope their is a movement by Jerry Jones - and perhaps someone like the Murdochs - to start a new professional football league... How could it lose? Just saying.
