I don’t think Brady wants to get in trouble with the wife who hates Trump. She’s bigger, stronger, more masculine, and richer than Brady, so he’s playing it smart.

Five Super Bowl wins is amazing. But still I am skeptical.
His first three wins were by 3 points, then 4 points, then an overtime touchdown. He benefited from other teams collapsing or screwing up almost every time. And he lost to two Giants teams that it’s amazing got to Super Bowls. Credit to him for winning five, but I’m not sure I would put him in my top five.

I know it might sound crazy now, but I think they should have kept Garrapolo and let Brady walk at the end of the year or even tried to trade him. Yes, he's the greatest quarterback ever, but Bellicheck is famous for letting a player go a year too early instead of a year too late. I think he made a mistake. We'll find out next year about this time I suppose.

Eli Manning throws that ball to David Tyree (who was out of the league by the next season; knee injury, then never caught on with another team) 1,000 times, there are 999 incompletions. The next Pats-Giants Superbowl, the line let Brady get pummeled. NY hit the lotto on one and deserved the other.

What absurdity!
Loons don’t win every roll of the dice to become the best.
Lefties love to dream.

They could not keep both on the roster.
Why? They were both signed, as of right now, and both fit under the current existing salary cap. So, why couldn’t they keep both?

Garrapolo is only signed for this year - he's been sitting behind Brady for three years, he wants to start.
They lose him for next year, (he won't sign) so they get a high 2nd round draft pick for him - rather than get nothing.

Th ESPN article is a dreadful bore, but anyone who thinks that Brady is simply lucky is the loon.

It is ridiculous to minimize Brady’s accomplishments. It’s laughable to complain that all his Super Bowl wins weren’t blowouts. All you can do is judge a player by the results on the field. No QB has been to as many or won as many Super Bowls as Brady. That is really the end of the discussion.
