Tom Brady Is a ‘Loon,’ Who Got What He Needed From ESPN
New York Post ^ | November 1 | Justin Terranova

Tom Brady comes off, well, slightly deranged in the lengthy ESPN feature piece about the Patriots quarterback and his “TB12 Method.”

Bill Simmons likely sums up the reaction from Patriots fans after ESPN led the way in Deflategate reporting — including a crucial one that turned out to be false — that ended in Brady’s four-game suspension.

ESPN still angry he had a MAGA hat in his locker.

It's a joy to watch them destroy themselves, they truly deserve it.

Didn’t he say he didn’t vote for Trump?

I thought he didn't say who he voted for, not sure.

I do know he made a personal statement recently when he went through a line of military personnel at a game, acknowledging each one.

He's mostly headlines to me outside of football. Inside, he's simply the greatest QB ever.

He didn’t say how he voted but my guess is that it wasn’t for Herself. After all, you vote alone so the nagging stops at the curtin.

I think the New England Patriots made a huge mistake trading away Garrapolo. I’m not saying he’s going to be great, but in very limited time he looked pretty good and they now have no one behind Tom Brady. Oh, yeah they re-signed Brian Hoyer, as I said no one behind Brady.

I understand that Tom Brady wants to play until he’s 45 and I think he really means it. However, when you get to his age, he can lose it quickly. Just a little bit off the fastball, or just a little bit off the touch and boom he’s throwing interceptions and his football looks like it’s lobbed out there from a third string wide receiver on a trick punt play.

Think I’m wrong, look what happened to Manning. He had it one year and in mid-season 2015, he lost it. It just absolutely fell of the table for him. I have no doubt that if he still had it, he would be playing right now. If it happened to Peyton Manning at 39, it can happen to Tom Brady at any moment, perhaps even this year. I know he’s looking great and it probably won’t happen to him this year, but what about the next? Or the next one after that? Bottom line, I don’t think he’s going to be playing at this level for more than a year and they traded away a possible future for a second round draft pick.

Tom Brady is friends with President Trump He strongly supports him too and his positions.

Well this kills loser Leftists like Bill Simmons that let his politics bleed into sports.

Tom Brady already has 4 Super Bowl Wins and will probably get another one this year.

He just trying to attack Tom simply because he is jealous and he is mad Tom supports President Trump.

Tom Brady is a liberal who benefited from a cover up, because he and Roger Goodell have the same boss.

"I think the New England Patriots made a huge mistake trading away Garrapolo."

They could not keep both on the roster. I think the idea was to see if Brady still had "it", (if he didn't they bring in Garropolo), Brady apparently does still have "it" so they certainly weren't going to trade him away.
They got a high 2nd round pick in the deal - Belichek's "sweet spot" for drafting - means they draft No. 32 and No. 33 next year.

It’s got nothing to do with the avocado ice-cream... He’s a good Catholic and thanks to his prayers and the prayers of his family, God gave him talent beyond that of a normal human.

Either that, or God listened to the prayers of Bostonian’s and New Englander’s and he gave them Tom Brady to wash away the taint of 1985 and 1996.

Yep. Brady is like an idiot savant...without the “savant” part.

Actually, Brady already has five Superbowl Rings(Rams, Panthers, Eagles, Seahawks, Falcons). He also lost twice to the Giants.

I do not believe they will win again this year. They are just not good enough to beat KC or Philly, IMHO.

Luck may get you through one season, two at most. But a fifteen-year-and-counting career? No way.

Is he a loon? Maybe by normal standards, but what is required to achieve a long career in the NFL, where the average term of service is about four years, may certainly look loony to outsiders.

And will he get hurt? If he keeps on playing it's inevitable and in fact he already has been hurt several times. That's the cost of a life in the NFL.

Brady is good but he lucked out getting drafted into a great football organization when he did.

He may already be the best QB ever and has nothing else to prove. I loved the revenge he got on Goodell last year and what a great Super Bowl comeback win.
