She arrived on stage wearing a surgical boot which she explained in an anecdote neither interesting nor uninteresting, just ambiently pleasant to listen to, like cicadas. “I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand,” – a break for a short homily on how unwise it was to run with coffee – “I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards”. She broke her toe. She had excellent medical care from our “English medical system” (little shout out for the NHS, thoughtful and serendipitous). Well. You sound perfectly … nice. How come nobody ever mentions that you’re perfectly nice?

While waiting for the doors to be unlocked I was standing only a couple of feet from a SS agent (suit.tie,little earpiece).I caught his attention and asked him a couple of question,which he answered in a friendly manner.I then asked him if the stories of ILLary abusing SS agents was true.He didn't say a word...didn't nod or shake his head.
He did,however,give a bit of a grin as his way of saying "hell yes!".
Of course answering that question in anything but a very subtle could cost him his job so it was understandable how he handled it.
This part of the article is true: “A former president can give a view on almost anything, past dignities conferring importance upon their every thought. One should not tell a lie.
I’ve met her twice, backstage at events I was working about 10 years ago. “Nice” is not a word I’d use to describe her. And any words that I could use to describe her would get me banned. I’ll let you figure out on your own what those words might be.
