I agree. If a contestant gets an answer right, it seems they have a ‘signaling button’ advantage for the next question. And it seems sometimes that the categories are skewed toward specific challengers. I remember a while back, the final question was something obscure relating to Europe (the answer was Bloemfontein and I cannot remember the question) and one of the contestants had lived near the place that was the answer. I felt bad for the other contestants. My husband and son tried out for a ‘father/son tag team’ opportunity several years ago and they passed the test. They even got to the screen test part, but then Jeopardy decided not to do the father/son tag team week. But they had fun that day they spent at the studio.

Yes, there are going to be some coincidences but they do seem to skew the questions/answers sometimes to favor a certain minority.
